Hi all,

I have a battery cut off switch under the bonnet and i've been using it while my Chimaera is parked up in the garage during the week.

My garage is a short walk from my house and has no power so I'm trying to preserve the battery when not in use.

I'm not sure the alarm system is a fan of this tho? I have the standard alarm with remote key-fob and immobiliser fob. When I turn up for a drive I reset the battery cut off switch which then re-sets the alarm.

I went out last weekend and she wouldn't start, got power to the fuel pump but when I went for the final turn of the key (following the red alarm light on the dash going out)I got nothing?

I used the key fob a few times but still nothing? I am due to replace the starter motor this month as I've been having a few issues with it but wondered if anyone had had similar issues?

Thanks in advance.
