PH site still very slow at times

Despite the recent upgrades, the site is still extremely slow sometimes, even at 6am GMT, so I'd be surprised if it was traffic causing it. Sometimes I can click on a thread, see that the site is going to 'hang', open another window, check my webmail, check another forum, and come back and the page still hasn't opened.

Is it just me?
