Servicing in Essex - Southend area

can anyone recommend a garage to service my Griff, preferably close to Southend.

Joolz, there are a couple of options for you depending how 'near' it has to be.

If you do a search on the TVR forum you should be able to get all the details from previous requests for the same information.

Try 'servicing' & 'Essex' = match both words and search 'TVR Forums' (all), there is quite a bit of stuff including recommendations.

I used PR Woods in Westcliff for a replacement headlight glass - Phill's a good chap, mainly does bodywork but also services TVR.
I use Dave Batty - bit of a trip to Guildford, otherwise Offords at Cambridge or TVR main dealers Castle at Stanstead

i had a guy in benfleet recommended to me by central of leigh prepares their tvr's
done a couple of jobs on my chimp very helpful
worth a try if your not looking for main dealer stamp.

castle tvr in stanstead.wont be cheap being a main dealer but have heard good reports about them.

Ok thanks everyone. Not too bothered about the cost (within reason) but not too bothered about the dealer stamp either, as long as it's done by somebody who knows TVRs and what to look for etc.

As I found in the past it can be right hassle getting to a main dealer from Southend and not always the service you'd expect for the money.

After 7 years of TVR ownership I'm still looking too (Chelmsford area). I have found a few places I won't be going back to, including dealers.
