Afternoon all,
Finally sold my Sony A200 and have just ordered a Nikon j1 after almost buying a canon g12. I decided the nikon maybe more what I wanted as in something very similar to my dslr but smaller and lighter.
So are there any other nikon1 owners on here if so how have you found it?
Im anning on doing a write up fir those interested when my camera arrives tomorrow hopefully!

right just a quick write up to start;
Got the camera Wednesday, had a little play yesterday, seems well made not that heavy and a nice little camera (little compared to my DSLR. Picture quality seems good, will post a few pics later after more playing. Pictures seem sharp, bright and clear. Menus are taking some working out, sure they aren't that hard but i am quite useless. Feels a lot different from having the Sony A200 and is taking some getting used to using it in the way it works. Shutter speeds seem very good and the electronic shutter speed is immense. Takes about 6 frames a second!!!
HD video seems very good with 720p and 1080p options.
Slow motion video is very interesting to play with as is the Motion shot mode.
Thats it for now will report back a little later with a couple of pictures.

I went for the twin lens kit off amazon as i could find it for £399 in comet etc but twin lens was £180+ ontop whereas amzaon did the twin lens kit for £499 hereand on ebay here
