bonnet stay retainer clip - same for all models?

I need a new bonnet stay retainer clip as mine has gone brittle and snapped. TVR gear dont list one for a chimaera. Can anyone tell me if the Griff/cerb ones are the same diameter and shape so they will fit ok?

My bonnet stay is in the boot like a lot of the other Griff ones. The clip to hold the stay is attached to the bonnet. Not sure if the Chim one is on the bonnet or the body? If its on the body then its probably different.

(Griff bonnet stays are shite unless you have the fancy telescopic one).

You can actually get a telescopic stay that brings the bonnet up a lot higher than normal, makes life easier for checking the water etc. Buggered if I can remember who makes it though?

Dave Beer of modwise makes them but he said he is too busy to do them now.
Shame coz I really want one.

yeah mine is attached to the inner arch rather than the bonnet. I think the cerb one will be the same although any decent supplier of these sort of clips and stuff will probably be able to provide one. Just wanted the convenience of ordering the right one first time off the net. Will have a look at the clip on craigs cerb on thursday to see if its the same.

I used a plastic cup clip on my 4.0 Griff ( 4 for £1)
from the pound shop!! just super glued it to the bonnet.

Have you thought of making one yourself? I'm not sure if DB will give away his designs but may be worth asking him for dimensions parts etc.

He's a bloody helpful chap but like you say is very busy at the mo and I reckon they take a bit of time to knock up.
