Guy - 2 questions related to my winter job list on the Ultima:-

1. Anyone have recommendation for good plasma coating company in the UK apart from the obvious one starting with Z.
2. What is the size of the wheel studs - I've several that are turning during tightening so replacement is in order (need length as well)

Also - in repsonse to the boring post, I'll post some pics of my ehaust mods when finished.

Cheers
Paul

Camcoat http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/index.htm are an alternative too.

I would call the factory for the wheel studs/nuts.

Paul

PS. Looking forward to the pics.

You probably know this but cam coat is a completely different coating nothing like a true Plasma coat and not as effective but much cheaper.

I know Mark but the difference is about £180 versus £900 for the Z product. I thought the 7litrebig should have a choice.

Does anybody know how effective the different coatings are - has it ever been measured (ie. not hearsay).

We got quoted (over the phone) £100 per manifold pipe (as each of our manifolds are seperate) so the total cost would have been around £800 for the manifolds.

Was that direct or was it through a dealer/franchise? Seems better than our price!

It's all down to lenght again. I think the standard Ultima headers are shorter than yours Jonny.
