recommend me a car insurer

my current insurer (AA) seems rather expensive. can anyone recommend an insurer currently offering good value insurance (comprehensive cover for a car worth £15-20k and an annual mileage of 20,000mls). i don't fall into any special categories such as OAP/previously banned driver etc. i'd like to narrow down my search prior to getting some online quotes. thanks in advance

I'm with Green insurance now. As well as being one of the cheapest they also offset the Carbon I produce.

Generally the ones that are trying to get market share will be more competitive for a while, so watch for whoever is running a campaign. More Th>n are doing a beat your renewal offer at the moment. They've been cheap for me the last couple of years. I'm expecting the sucker renewal quote this year, so will probably be moving on.

You'd seem a prime target (assuming max NCB) for Aviva.
Add Spouse for discount, don't keep car garaged or do low mileage. Remember to state how many cars are in your household (3+ )

Ring Adrian Flux, and let them deal with it. Been with them for many years, and find their customer service staff to be very knowledgeable, and professional.
After the first year, they will beat any like for like quote, guaranteed.
