Hi people.
I am hoping to be able to challenge the 3 peak challenge sometime this year, maybe September.
Now I have only ever done 3 mountain walks. Conniston, Scales and Snowdon just Saturday gone.
Hopefully I will be in good health to be able to do the challenge as right now I suffer a tiny bit with my quads and hams, not a lot but something which will need to improve.
A question I have is, is it something worthy of asking for a donation to a charity of a choice by family and friends? I have no charitys close to heart but will have one researched and picked by then if so.
Thanks,
Craig.

15 peaks? I'll have to have a look at that.
Question I was asking was, is it a challenge worthy of asking for donations to a charity?

If you are doing it to the timings them yes, can be quite demanding. Someone last year in my office did it for charity and raised around £600 iirc.

P.s please consider Motor Neurone Disease as a Charity.

Personally if somebody I knew was doing the three peaks challenge (the 24 hour one) I would definately make a contribution. Not so sure if it was just in a week or so for example.
