Virgin needing help!!
Discussion
OK well after much saving and reading I am off to buy/test drive a Chimera.
Can any of you tell me where I can get one around Basingstoke? Any garages, helpful advice, hints tips or pointers to threads that I should be reading would be very much apreciated and of course what colour is the fastest so I don't get the wrong one.
Many thanks, looking forward to burbling rather than vrooming

I would try out Fernhurst Motor company if I was you. Bought my last one from there and they have looked after all three of my TVRs over the last five years.
Great bunch of guys ask for either Drew or Simon...
They are near Haslemere www.fernhurst-tvr.co.uk
Tell them Nathan sent you and they will look after you

Fernhurst, who advertise on here, are somewhere near-ish to you and seem to be recommeded by several PHers.
You want 'Starmist green' to go fast, but then I'm biased.
depends on how much attention you want while travelling. Decide which colours you couldn't live with, then buy on condition for any other colour of car.

I'd also add to the Fernies recommendations.
I havent bought from either but they both offer friendly service.

And Starmist Blue is the fastest of them all.
So it may well be, BUT Crimson Starmist is the LOUDEST! OH
Yep agree with the rest of the guy's on here, Fernies, top class guy's.
And they do a good cup of coffee to.
Haven't tried the Scotch yet though.
Drew you little lurker! Welcome Charlie, glad you enjoy the new car, hopefully we'll see you at some events over the summer?
I see you had a Seat Leon previously, how does it feel to step down to a slower car with poorer road holding?
Last bit may have been a slightly in joke, but worth it in case PC Mungo turns up

Oi ......everyone knows Cosmos Blue is the fastest !!
Isn't that right Cosmoschick.....![]()
Stu.
Indeed! Hmm...140mph springs to mind!
Buy on condition and not (necessarily) age. Trev has reached 10 years now which is pretty old for a car, but since he's still drop-dead gorgeous I won't be trading him in for a younger model as yet...
Unless a tasty Porsche tempts me!

I bought from Adrian Blyth's and can recommend them very highly for excellent, friendly and knowledgable service.

The leon was the 210bhp Cupra R - a good car and I DO miss it, but when I start the Chim's engine........
