It's, err, slightly challenging in the looks department for me, especially the upper nose area around the bottom of the windscreen;

Looks like there is a lot of stuff hidden under that nose, does the hydrid drive have to power the front wheels? You can see a bit of the GT-One in there. Seat on the left is unusual? Not sure if its just the angle of the pic but there seems to be a growth on the left side behind the cockpit?

There does appear to a lot of influence from other cars, which of course is to be expected. You're right, seated to the left is unusual.

Ah yeah door isnt shut! Rear wing endplates are a bit different too. Hope its quick and reliable.

It certainly has some interesting features, but I'm a little concerned that we may be entering a period of F1 esq all coupes looking the same. Maybe we need a set of rule changes, it's been a while....

Visibility looks be to greater than the new R18 as well.

That being said, I think the importance of the programme has just increased significantly.

I am very happy to see that it looks so good.It's a blend between the R18 and 908 with the lights of ann LMPC. Top dog! Can't wait to see Toyota at LM. I have always been a big Toyota fan since 2002 because of F1 so this is amazing to see.

Let's hope it goes better than it looks but who care on aesthetics. My brain wants to believe that they have been developing the car since they flopped out of F1 and they will be at the sharp end straight out of the box. What chances ?

If its as good as the Toyota GT1 of the late 1990s at Le Mans, they have a great chance of a podium. In my view the GT1 is the best car never to have won outright.

I just wish there was no need for those central fins. Really spoils the cars. Just look at what the profile would be like on the cars without it.

They'd look stunning.

There is certainly a mix of Audi and Peugeot in their design. That rear end looks very tightly packaged for good aero.

I also wish all lmp 1 were open cockpit. Just a personal preference of looks.

The front lights look fugly but all it all looks good.

Lets hope the can bring a bit of a fight to Audi.

Hybrid would help close (or eclipse) the gap and, as I guessed the other day, with Toyota Hybrid emblazoned on the fin it looks like it's running it. Instant 100% torque from the electric motor. One to watch methinks.

Trouble is, with you lot posting pics like that, I start getting all excited. I think it looks absolutly brilliant, and I've started craving Stella, and dodgy looking meat products, and standing right in front of the double radiator, when it's on full, (well we can dream, can't we?).

It does look lke LM on a plate though, they've got the shape right, hopefully the rest will follow.

Sounds like Toyota are responding to Audi potentially taking the Hybrid glory, this years Le Mans could be wide open.
