I'm looking for a cover for my S1, does anyone have any recommendations. The car is kept outside, so the cover needs to be weatherproof.

I can vouch for the Leven Technology one.

I use one from Classic Additions. It is the Lightweight Showerproof grey full cover, retailing for £78+vat+carriage. It has performed very well, but does have a tendency to come off at the front in windy weather. It is fixed with a single strap under the middle of the car, but I also use another strap tiedown across the bonnet just behind the front wheels. It has kept the car dry over the past year, well recommended. Also keeps the bird poo off.

It has not scuffed the paint, just make sure that the car is clean before putting the cover on, and a regular polish helps the cover slide over the body and not rub it.

Note that this is a tybond car cover (size B), not actually made by classic additions, and you can get it on e-bay for about £40 as I found out after buying it.

Whilst we're at it, can you get a 'bikini' cover, to go over the roof when parked? My wife doesn't like putting the real roof panels in, and wants to be able to throw a cover over gap between the rasied rear section and windsceen. Make one I supose?

Either put a Leven shower cap on, or get one made by a camping shop or such like.

The Leven jobbie does the trick , it clips round the door mirrors and fits well round the targa and windscreen.

I must say that I use a Leven one throughout the year. Top marks!! They even offered to repair some stitching that had come off if I could drop it down to them.

Matt, I still have my genuine Classic Additions S Series exterior cover which has been rarely used, complete with storage bag. I'll let you have it if the price is right. email me offline if you're interested.
