Recommend me a bodyshop in Leeds
Discussion
Not exactly Leeds, but try these guys in Brighouse: http://www.impact-bodyshop.co.uk/
I haven't needed them thankfully, but my preferred detailer Tony Spears took me over there to have a look. They have done some amazing stuff. I am paint critical, as in a past life I worked for a paint refinishing and supply company and have seen more bodyshops than I'd care to mention. The cars I inspected here were about as faultless as you can get and their "custom" work is spectacular. I did get a quote from them for a front end respray (stonechips etc) and the quote seemed reasonable.

I agree that impact are very good but they are very expensive. I haven't needed them thankfully, but my preferred detailer Tony Spears took me over there to have a look. I've used a place a little further away in
Hudds which was very good and 1/3 of the price of impact.
I also used a place in Halifax that did a flawless job on my wife's Boxster (the job that impact were gonna do).

Not had any work done by them. I nearly did before going to a painless dent guy which suited my requirement better.

Andy and Paul Mudd at APM Autos (www.apmautos.co.uk) in Bradford have just restored my 911 and done a stunning job. These guys are also very reasponable price wise.
They have done loads of work for some of the local specialists and I personally know various people who have used them from a scratch to full restoration.

Another one for APM, I know of at least a couple of people who have brought cars on a 450 mile round trip to use them!! Real craftsmen... They have done loads of work for some of the local specialists and I personally know various people who have used them from a scratch to full restoration.

Are you based near Harrogate?
No, what/where is he Marcus? And do you know his work personally.
I have been quoted about £1000 for the bumper/apron, bonnet and wings.
Now I appreciate that it is not a bog standard motor than can be done quickly and easily. It has to be done in a certain way, all taken to bits and a lot of time spent. But even so, £1000 seems a tad steep!
