Guys,

The old dear has just phoned me saying her battery is flat so I'm off round hers after work to remove it and charge it for her.

Question is............How?? Where is it? What tools will I need to take with me and is it simple enough to do??

Cheers

10 or 13mm for the bar on top that holds it in place.

10mm for the cable clamps and 17mm for the retention bracket on my Mk2.

One of my clamps had been replaced at some point, but it's normally a 10mm for the securing bar, and 13mm for the clamps (one of mine is annoyingly 14mm, making it a three spanner job!).

Basically, a 10, 12, 13, 14 set of spanners will be more than enough.

Oh, and sliding it out in the plastic tray might be easier than leaving it in there. smile

on my mx5 its a bit tricky removing the earth lead on the negative terminal absolutely no room to move, so ive bought a longer earth lead to manage the removal much easier.
