It's the steering wheel that's really putting me off.

Quite a common conversion in Merka. Can you imagine getting a quote from your OPC to do one. "Ninety grand sir?"

I love it (steering wheel debatable) the only thing is do you really want a classic Porsche with a Corvette engine!!!!

But what is the price difference between a Ruf one and this one! and the Ruf one 550bhp WOW

Kushy, does it not bother you having a classic Porsche with non-Porsche engine

looks like there is no room to put an air filter on top of the carb - think of all the cr@p that would go in the engine.

Steering wheel aside, that's a great looking machine for only £12k.

Not sure of I would want to drive that quickly in the wet on a twisty road... Must be more weitght in the rear.

But total legend conversion!

Must be a shallow block as it can not be seen from rear end..? Can not see the exhaust either so that should be intersting.

I like it from an engineering point not as a purchase.

I read somewhere (when a similar conversion came up on another thread) that the LS1 engine is actually lighter?

Terrifying. Think I'd want to carry ballast in the nose in that thing... Truly scary. Good work nonetheless!
