Hi All,

After some searching on the board and the net I went to running shop and picked up a pair of Asics matched to my feet (yellow, arched foot type).

Anyway they are pinching my foot (left side only as my foot looks like its missing a sixth toe!).

Planning on taking them back today, and from what I have researched Nike do some good wide foot/soft sided.

Any info people?

FYI: 84kgs, running three times a week for 40 mins on hard surfaces.

Cheers,
HF

New Balance shoes come in width fittings (if you find a decent stockist)

I found Asics to have a narrow front despite what they claim.

Try Nike Pegasus Trail, I paid £59 but I see on sale at £48, I run approx 2 miles and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. Not sure of the technical side of it but they work for me

Thanks for the advice chaps.

Tried on several, but for me Nike Lunarglide are really comfortable- soft side walls, and a good heel cushion to reduce a lot of the impact.

On my run last night they felt good right out of the box.

Cheers,
