Brembo handbrake calipers

Hi,

Anyone know how much the Brembo handbrake calipers weigh? I'm thinking about using a pair on a project, but I'm trying to think of ways to justify the expense of them!

Here are some ruff number using a bathroom scale.

front rotors 16 lbs each
front calipers 3.5 lbs each
rear rotors 19 lbs each
rear calipers 6 lbs each
parking brake 3 lbs each

3lbs EACH!!! Boggle... that's nearly 1.4kg. Add that the weight of even a feathery light 2 pot and it's no lighter than the OEM rear calipers I was planning to use.
