Don't think i will be eating duck again in a while.
Discussion
I had 4 Duck wraps for my lunch, they were reduced.
All seemed fine.
Then a few hours ago i started shivering/sweating generally feeling like s
t.
Then 30 mins ago, i felt the need to go to the bathroom.
Then all of a sudden Bang, my insides were being jet propelled at signifficant speed into the loo.
And now i almost feel fine. My nose hurts a bit from the force of the lumps of my lunch coming up it, but apart from that and the taste in my mouth im back to usual.
So what happened? Was my duck not well?
But i will definatly be keeping off the cheap duck from now on!!
Just thought i would share my lunch with you, feel free to post yours.

Have you eaten duck before? Were you ill? how may times? I take the view on this kind of thing that it's likely to be a one off, and don't let it put me off. you may eat a bad mussel one day but that shouldn't mean you avoid them for ever.
Agreed.Could have happened with any meat or fish.
Duck is fantastic, don't miss out on it just because your poo sounded like a drowning duck!
People always rattle on about food poisoning taking 12-24 hours and all this kind of stuff and I never believe it.
I have had a few instances whereby I have eaten and drank nothing but totally mundane food for several days (cereal, toast, baked potato, biscuits etc) then go to a 'barbequed seafood restaurant' or something exotic and watery excrement will be exploding out of my arse within an hour or so, followed by a bit of spewing if I'm lucky.
"24 hours" my arse.

+1 - Only last week I tried some dodgy looking meatballs from the canteen at work, 30 mins later, feeling weird, puke, sent home, right as rain next day, 12-24 hours my arse.I have had a few instances whereby I have eaten and drank nothing but totally mundane food for several days (cereal, toast, baked potato, biscuits etc) then go to a 'barbequed seafood restaurant' or something exotic and watery excrement will be exploding out of my arse within an hour or so, followed by a bit of spewing if I'm lucky.

t again...he went on and on over the phone about how he had done food hygiene at college and I should not be having the symptoms I was having from what I had eaten the night before etc etc. I took him a sample the next morning and left it on his desk along with the sick form he had to sign and a post it suggesting he get it tested. The form came back via a colleague and was passed on to payroll. He never said a word.(I used one of those short fat dip jars from old El Paso and squatted in the bath if anyone's wondering)
Happy days...

I think food poisoning takes longer than 4 hours to manifest in symptoms. What did you have for supper/midnight snack last night?
That early on and I think you'd be more likely to throw up something your body isn't going to agree with.
Try going on holiday to Egypt. That place will prove beyond all reaosnable doubt that food poisoning can happen within minutes. That early on and I think you'd be more likely to throw up something your body isn't going to agree with.
3 times I've been on diving holidays there & each time I've sharted in my wetsuit within 30 minutes of eating something. It's really not nice to see fish following you, eating the scraps of poo floating around you. Especially when you have to do your decompression stop & your whole mess ends up floating around your face.
