Hi there

I'm picking this up on Saturday:

http://www.portiacraft.com/cardetail.asp?make=02_P...

Martin at Portiacraft says drive it gently, keeping below 4K and bring it back for an oil change after 1000 mikes.

Good advice? Contrary opinions?

I'm kind of hoping Baz will pop up and give chapter and verse.

Cheers, Nick

That's fairly standard 911 engine rebuild advice. Also avoid labouring and keeping it at the same revs for too long.
I'd double check with the man responsible though.
