Morning guys,

Has anyone here tried one of Allan Carr's clinic on the Easy way to quit smoking? I have read the book, but unfortunately that didn't work, I am considering trying one of his clinics, unfortunately there are no dates available while I am at home.

Would any of your guys be interested in having a PH group session at one of his clinics if so just add your name to the list and your location.

It seems as if he has a good few recommendations.

A group session is £220pp and a one to one session is £1000, I don't know how much a private group session would be, if there is any serious interest I will find out and also try to find the best place to have the meeting.

Have a nice day

P.s Please don't think I am trying to get people to quit, this is just a question for anyone who actually wants to quit.

Best of luck mate.
The book alone worked for me so I'm a happy bunny; just over the year now.

Never give up giving up; it's worth it in the end. thumbup

Good luck with quitting.
I quit 5 years ago after 29 years of 20+ a day.
It can be done, you just have to really want to quit above anything else.

Simple way to quit - everytime you want a smoke, imagine you will look and sound like Allan Carr if you have one.

Serious though i have heard its quite good.

This is why it's important to spell his name right: Allen Carr. Alan Carr.

I'm a big fan of the book.

Back in 2007 a few friends of mine read it and quit for a few months but then started again. I decided to read it, not really wanting to quit and not believing it would work. I was shocked how well it worked, I just didn't want to smoke anymore, no craving, no issues at all.

I've not smoked a fag in over 4 years now and I don't feel the urge to smoke.

Whenever I gave up in the past I'd always miss it and feel quite jelous of people who were still smoking. The book has completely eliminated that.

Best of luck OP.

Thanks guys,

I think my biggest problem with reading the book was that I went out the night I had finished the book so I think that hindered me quite a lot.

I will quit though, I have started reading the book again.
