UK Porsche LHD specialists

Hi everybody,

Can somebody tell me if there is some UK Porsche specialists selling LHD 996? I heard that LHD cars are usuallly cheaper in UK.

Yep. Take almost any car and the lhd equivalent is more than the rhd - even in the UK. There are some specialist LHD dealers (look on ebay, PH, ...) and they are expensive.

It's a pity you don't want a LHD 964 because there's a beautiful black widebody 964 that's had a full engine rebuild and re-spray that's just come up for sale (private sale).

I bought a LHD 964 (manual, C2, the best!) back in 2001 (I don't fit in RHD aircooled 911's due to steering wheel offset, as an added advantage it was ~£5k cheaper than equivalent RHD version).

When I sold it in 2003 I had 10 enquiries in 10 days mostly from mainland Europe and Iceland too. In the end the car went to Sweden. It was great as I got to drive it back with the new owner, a nice way of saying goodbye with a 500 mile roadtrip.
