Leaving Griff club....

...but not straying too far.
I've just put the beast away in the garage after its last but one journey with me at the wheel, just another 10 miles or so to go next week (on its way to be p/x'ed for a Tuscan S) & 3 1/2 years of ownership will be over.
The highs:
The V8 burble & roar, countless trackdays, maxing it out in France/Belgium/Holland
, numerous sunburnt head days, kids shouting "cor" "wow" or giving the thumbs up as I've burbled past, discovering PH, almost perfect reliability - only 2 fuse links & it's never left me stranded, I could go on but you all know the score.
The lows:
Finding the perfect Tuscan just after spending shedloads on uprating the brakes (again) & putting new wheels on - ever wish you had a crystal ball!
Cooking me every time I've been sat in traffic on a hot day or had to put the roof on when a summer shower hits.
The negative reactions of jealous d1ckheads who Know no better - thier loss, b0ll0x to 'em!
Fingers crossed that the Tuscan behaves as well.

Photos will be forthcoming!
I'd have loved to have kept the Griff, but the garage seems to be 1 & 3/4 cars sized once the (motor)bikes & garden machinery are inside. My access in/out of the garage would've been a pig as well.
I thing Mr Big M is talking sense keeping yours as they do seem to be just in the cusp of "classic" status.
Hope I don't regret the move!

Good luck with the Tuscan mate - look forward to seeing some photos.
We have an order in for a Tuscan 2 - but Mr Big has managed to convince me the Griff should stay - he says I don't need a face lift so I should let him have my savings.
Good man Mr Big i'll have to remember that one
Leadfoot good luck mate and rememeber not to forget us in the Griffith forum and pop in
