It's the best looking (I always wanted a 2.0S) but in practice a 2.0 Laser gives you the same spec as a 2.0 S.

The Laser interiors seem to wear very well too.

One of my biggest regrets is selling my old 2.0 Laser.

Not for the 2.0. Laser has same engine and suspension as the S.

The 1.6S (very few made) had more power than the 1.6 Laser as it got the Weber carb rather than the Ford one.

All Lasers got 5 speed gearbox too which is useful.

These are old school rusty Fords so buy on condition, not model. Check the strut top mounts, a weak point on old Fords. Or buy a newer Mustang.
