My latest V8 is fitted with an Edlebrock carb, after years of running Holley's.

Generally v pleased with the overall package, BUT, usual carb teething problems proving to be a very interesting experience.

1) Bogging when transitioning to secondaries.
2) Unwanted variations in idle speed causing some running on.

Not being v.confident with unfamiliar hardware I have tried to find a rolling road with Edelbrock experience within reasonable distance of Hemel Hempstead. - Nada - anywhere!
Their main U.K dealer could offer no better suggestion than " get on the web and find someone who knows the product"

So, I had a look at the Edelbrock website expecting to be able to e-mail their tech support team.
Imageine my joy to find there is no customer portal to this group or any other part of Edelbrock except by writing or telephoning their factory in California.

My advice, go with a manufacturer that cares enough to build a support network in the countries they sell in, and wants to be contactable by its customers. BUY HOLLEY.

I got fed up with the different games both carbs play and have fitted an injection system.

Ez-EFI kit, not a bad price, comprehensive kit and promises to be a vast improvement, not had it running yet due to chassis welding and exhaust manufacture but I have high hopes for it.

Best place for Edelbrock would be RPI in Norwich. They know them very, very well. They supplied 90% of the bits for my 7 engine build.
