Given it was on dealer plates, the black Carrera S that came ripping past me between Harston and Newton must be from Cambridge Porsche. Good noise at full chat, but definitely looks big compared to the 997.
I thought Porsche said that there is no official running in period on their new cars? Also, if its a demonstrator, by now I suspect it will be way past a running in period anyway.
If so many recent pork engines were not given to self destruction I may be inclinded to accept that statement. Since that is not the case, however, and also due to the fact that I have too much mechanical sympathy to cane a new engine, I'll stick to my old methods thanks.
