Some more pictures,
The plate will be welded on later on this month
Then its a case of blanking and re-routing bits on the new throttle body
New elbow plus mega squirt then off to the dyno, if im not happy with the results
I have 2 other 'crazy' ideas that will! and this one will be up for sale

Mr beaver it's a bored out LT1 ( vette camaro etc)
I was thinking about removing the fin, don't think it would make much difference, I've smoothed it out for now
Derek - way ahead of you ;-)

Been looking at this one on the V8Forum

That's off an SD1 twin Plenum Vitesse - I had one of these and would advise you to avoid this plenum in it's standard form. The throttle mechanisms are very delicate, and because you are trying to move 2 throttle plates from one side it causes uneven wear. Since they're now all at least 25 years old, if they havent been refurb'd already they probably require one. And parts need to be specially made because they're no longer available.
However there is a company that offer a centre throttle pull mechanism which is suppose to be much improved. The benefit is that the trumput base is much larger than a normal single plenum version, along with larger trumpets so it has potential to flow much better.

Did wonder myself if it may help with shunting.. as it sections of the feed into two sides?.. not sure which would be best.. with or without?... I've done the same with mine.. got it down to about 10mm thick and made it more stream-lined... The TB should be good I think.. That's why you sold your TP to me ? However there is a company that offer a centre throttle pull mechanism which is suppose to be much improved. It has now upgraded with stainless throttle shafts and bronze bushings.
