Seven owners (i.e. him and the previous 6) means less than 3 years each, these don't normally change hands that quickly in my opinion do I'd have thought that needs explaining - could be a niggle that doesn't always show but none have managed to sort. Easy to find out though if he'll let you look at log book and ring the owner before him

Always keep an eye on the classifieds [all sections] and thats not cheap. Priced about right IMO precats are anything from £8k to £10k. A good price considering the mileage but almost 20 years old now so....... chassis....chassis.....chassis.

I would be inclined to disagree in the friendliest possible way, cars like TVR's tend to end up with lots of owners as it's been an itch that needed scratching. MX-5's are particularly bad I've been told for the same reason.
Anyway it wouldn't put me off.

I didn't say it would put me off, I'd just look for an explanation, particularly as the car looks in excellent nick from the photos
