How / why would oil get into intercooler / intercooler pipes?

How / why does the EGR get clogged up and what are the benefits of getting it cleaned out now and then?

Crank gas breather pipes in all turbo cars are always before turbo so on high load can draw oil into the system.

As far as I know the oil in your pipes/intercooler comes from the turbo... Its perfectly normal unless your finding pools of it.

And yes the EGR and intake will get clogged up with carbon deposits as its recirculating exhaust gasses to make the engine more effecient at low rpm.
I have mine blocked off but you would be amazed how restrictive carbon buildup can be.
