I bought mine to split but the more I look at it, and others, the better it is. It seems a real shame to split a good example of a Wedge when all I want is the chassis and drive train. If anyone knows of a mechanically sound car with a knackered shell and/or interior that they want to swap for a mechanically sound car with a good shell and interior please let me know.

Hi Mate...Now your talking sense..It would be a real shame to break up a car that is in good condition..(More pics please)..6 months ago i would of done a swap but have spent too much time and money sorting mine that it too would be a shame..Perhaps sell yours and look out for a wedge with a sad future round its neck..Something like this which was on another thread..

I have just bought a Scimitar to act as the donor so the TVR has survived!

Now to explain the 4th car to the wife. She doesn't drive so she doesn't understand why I need 3 cars, let alone the 4th.

She seems to think I am only keeping the Wedge until I get the Scimitar road worthy and re-bodied.

Wife doesn't drive
Wife doesn't like being driven in the Wedge.
Wife didn't like my last sports car.
Wife likes the CL600 AMG Mercedes as it doesn't feel like it is moving even when it very is.

Took wife to see the new donor car : https://sites.google.com/site/g46wca/

Wife is having lie down with a large wine.

I think you've done the right thing there. That Scimitar looks a right old shed and was always going to be past economical recovery as a Scimitar.
You now get to give two cars a new lease of life, good work!
