Asda have Triplewax car shampoo on offer - 500ml with 100% extra free (so 1 litre) reduced from £3 to £1!

They also had wash mitts, Kent microfiber buffing and glass cloths and a few other bits all reduced to £1, well worth stocking up smile

That's cheap alright.
Store will be packed at this time though and parking's a pain.

bks, went to Asda yesterday but mind was on decorating products so missed the car stuff.

Jesus Christ though, it's so, so much cheaper than B+Q: Literally a third of the price for stuff like brushes, masking tape and the like.

I bought one of those soft fluffy car washing mitts - I have NO intention of using it on the car smile

They also have a full carpet mat set for about £8. They were as low as £4 at one point but have gone back up again.

I got a wash mitt in Asda last year and its excellent. Those kent cloths are really good as well.

The microfibre cloths are great. Cheap enough to be disposable. thumbup

Worth also noting that they are doing 4L Castrol GTX for £10. Unfortunately my local store had run out of 10w40. frown

I have just been into the Asda nearest me (on the wrong side of town), or as it should be known Asbo..I am sure I glimpsed David Attenbrugh filming a documentary on the strange wildlife within..

..luckily I quickly found the bargain car cleaning gear and stocked up but can honestly say I would in future pay any amount not to have to go into battle amongst that pile of mouth-breathing dross again! The visit served to reinforce all the perceived reasons why I do not ever go in there!..so much worse in my opinion than any of the other budget supermarkets (Tescos/Morrisons etc)..seemed like lots of 'taxpayers money' being spent in there, unemployable Wayne/Waynetta types with trolleys plied high with pizza, crisps and luminous drinks. Adults busy ignoring multiple children running riot in the aisles!..hell on earth, never again without a full chemical warfare suit!..
