What the Thais are driving this year
Discussion
Just been to Thailand on holiday, and noticed some vehicles they get and we don't and some motoring and boating odditys.

This is there replacement for the isuzu trooper which is very popular out there.
This is a toyota fortuner, pretty similar to a Shogun sport also very popular.
The guy in the green vest is a bike taxi driver licensed to carry up to 3 passengers on his moped. A very common site over there is a family of four on a moped, two year old standing at the front holding handle bars then dad and mam normally feeding baby not a helmet between them.
This is a water taxi with 450hp 2x 225hp engines, they just reverse on to the beach and will take up to 15 people to an island a mile off shore for £15 (a quid each) they sound awesome.
This one nearly landed on my foot, woke me up i can tell you!
They have Toyota Camry hybrids i haven't seen them here.
The jet ski I hired a few times and finally the one i didn't want to see our taxi to the airport

People *really* wear socks like that?
Yes mate, lost all the skin off the top of my foot to sunburn in temperatures of over 100 degrees on the first day, wore my st georges cross England socks for the rest of the holiday, much to the annoyance of the mainly german beach
Feet are fine now
That 'Camry' is also sold as the Toyota Aurion in the Australian and New Zealand markets. It's FWD but the base engine option is a V6 with almost 300bhp. It was truely the most bizarre car I have ever driven. I had steel wheels, wheel trims, a plastic steering wheel with no controls, flat cloth seats and no climate control.
And 280bhp?!
And 280bhp?!
