Z3 is probably the best fun to drive but if it's wet or if you have any doubts about your abilities to teach or your sisters ability to drive I'd go with the Starlet!
I think I am heading this way, i.e. the Starlet. It is the safest option given the unknown quantity that is my sister!Edited by Steve H on Sunday 22 January 10:50

Has he ever driven RWD before? if not I'd be inclined to go with the Starlet. Power oversteer needs to be learnt in deserted industrial estates, not the racetrack.
Z3, then race it in this http://www.750mc.co.uk/F-BMW-Roadzter-series.php

Just because its FWD dont think the starlet is an easy TD car!
Turbo lag, and plenty of power UNDERsteer can be just as easy to be caught out on, as is power..understeer...more lock..MORE LOCK...lift off...too much lock..TOO MUCH lock the other way...crash.

Good luck!
Thanks, that's just the kind of encouragement I need Turbo lag, and plenty of power UNDERsteer can be just as easy to be caught out on, as is power..understeer...more lock..MORE LOCK...lift off...too much lock..TOO MUCH lock the other way...crash.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
