Another speakers thread!

I know there is currently a speakers thread running, but I wanted some specific advice...
Current system:
Arcam CD72
Arcam AVR100
Mission 731 standmounters.
I've had the Missions for years and they're great little rockers, but I've rearranged the room (roughly 7m by 14m with speakers on 7m wall) and they're not really cutting it.
Got £200 or so to spend on new speakers and will retire the Missions to surround duties.
Now, back in the day I lusted after a pair of B&W DM601 S2s, so I checked ebay and found out that they're selling s/h for £200 which is what they were new 15 years ago!
I'm assuming tech has moved on, so what should I be looking at in that range? I want something that can rock hard, but also good for AV duties and with good clarity for classical stuff (but not unduly sibilant/tiring) if that makes sense.
Should I get a s/h par of the B&Ws?
