The car in the advert, AOY289H, was one of the prototypes and badged as a Velar; it is the oldest surviving Range Rover/Velar. This particular car has, however, been rebodied during its life. YVB 150H was the last of the prototypes (chassis 100/7). YVB 151H onwards were pre-production cars, and were also registered as Velars.
I always find these sort of conversations go down really well around the dinner table

So, not really much help to the OP, unless he has £80K burning a hole in his pocket and wants this particular car. I think some of these early 2-door prices could be described as 'aspirational', although the same vendor had one earlier at similar money a while ago, and that appears to have sold.
