Saw my first Pistonheads logo on the back of a car the other day. I wanted to acknowledge him or make it known that I'm on here too.

I thought about flashing him and pointing to the logo or drawing up next to him winding down the window to shout something across and thought all of these things could be misinterpreted or seen as aggressive gestures and could lead to a road rage style incident.

Wondering if there is some way we could say 'hello' that could be clearly understood between PHers.

Any thoughts?

I've wondered this as well, although I'm yet to see another PHer on the road.

I've heard the correct procedure is to blow them a kiss and shout 'violent bum rape justice' whilst sensually rubbing your crotch.

I'm probably mistaken.

The thought was there though.

If driving a convertible with the top up then the correct procedure is to open the roof slightly and quickly close it again, in the manner of a gentleman tipping his hat.

In all other circumstances an accurately thrown can of Red Bull will have the desired effect.

i always keep a can of redbull handy for this express purpose. throw it onto the window of their p&j, receive friendly 'ah, you crazy guy' smile and a wave.

Never seen one, despite apparently sharing a very specific daily commuting route with a couple.

My smileys are black and hidden in the top of front and back windows so you'd have to really be looking.

So if I saw you and tooted the horn or flashed my lights would you assume a fellow PHer or that you had upset someone?

Follow as close to their bumper as possible while flashing your headlights and waving like a mong.

Yes thats what I always do.
If they don't give the special sign of a PHer I then just run them off the road, harsh but fair.
