received email - offensive post

I suspect both my post and the reply were removed for a reason quite different to the one given to me via email.

Am I correct? Why did you say my post was offensive when it clearly wasn't?

If it's the thread/post I think it was (a picture with something about counting to potato?), your post would have been removed because you quoted a picture that was deemed to be offensive.

I guess you just got the same email as the OP

Yes,potato.The photo was of a child,which I took to be his,the inference being the child could only count 1,2,3 -potato! Quite sweet.Offensive? Utter nonsense..

The rules of posting quite clearly state that if you have an issue with the moderation you shouold contact Paul Garlick, i.e. not post about it in the forums.

You asked for a reason why your post was removed and I have told you, the post that you quoted was reported as the reportee felt it was offensive to use a picture of a downs syndrome child. The mods acted accordingly.

If you have an issue with the moderation on PistonHeads then you need to contact Garlick
