Hello

I have been ordered by the wife to photocopy the form for the Guards Polo match (or what ever it is called). She said it is in Sprint but failed to say in which issue and I am having difficulties seeing beyond my nose today. Might have had something to do with last nights

Any one care to point me in the right direction?

TIA

She may well be refering to the Cartier International at Guards Polo Club on the 25th July this month. Big event attracting lots of amazing cars, people and polo. I might however be WAY OFF THE MARK.

Sounds like it will also attract lots of small chins, big ears and haw-hawing (and I'm not describing the polo ponies.......)

This one is the TVRCC picnic on August 8th - should be good fun.

Go direct to the Guards polo website... it is 25th July and watch out for Will Lucas playing for England. Good mate of mine and he's trying to persuade me to take my brand, spanking Nebula Tuscan S along. But I want to drink!

We had a mail from Graham the Berks RO a few months ago....These are the details:

Hi all.
I had a call yesterday about an invitation for the Car Club.

This is for a day out to watch Polo at Smith's Lawn Windsor (near Virginia Waters). Bentley cars have also been invited but on a different day.
The Car Club can invite up to 200 cars. Gazebos, picnics and banners are allowed but no BBQ's. Champagne is OK!!!
The only stipulation is that the organisers must have names and registration numbers for security reasons.
The date is Sunday, 8th. August.
This offer is going to be put in the Sprint mag for all regions so spaces could go quickly like Gang
On The Green last year.

IIRC the Surrey region have also booked on-mass...

We've got 14 cars going so far but more are booking now. Should be a laugh, Pimms anyone?

Rich,
You need to get a security pass made so you need to give the car club your name and that of your passenger(s), your membership number, car make, model, colour and registration number. The £5 is to cover the cost of the pass being made.
I'm sure a photocopy of the form is fine but I will call the club office tomorrow to find out the full details. We have some new members who do not have a copy of May Sprint so I'll get back to you and see what the virdict is.
Hope this helps,
Karen

Just spoke to the club office and here is the official take on the Polo thing. If you don't have a copy of May Sprint, send a letter to the club office with the following details:-
1. Your name
2. Your region
3. The name(s) of your passenger(s)
4. Your car's make
5. Your car's colour
6. Your car's registration number
7. Your membership number
8. A cheque made payable to The TVR Car Club for £5.

I am having some extra copies of the form sent to me so if you need one get in touch.

Hope that helps,
See you there!
Karen
