She hasn't turned a wheel for 5 weeks so decided to go out for a run this afternoon with the wife and a spot of lunch, as it was dry but windy (weather, not the wife) oh boy I love the Ult, its the anticipation as you open the garage doors, knowing your going on a little adventure, she fired up 1st press of the button let her run for a few minutes to warm up, then climb in and let the fun begin.
Just love every minute of the driving experience, looking out as the front dissapears from view and the bulbus front wheelarches reminding me of the Porsche 917 Le Mans cars and what it must be like to drive one, only trouble is had to get back to walk the dogs, otherwise would still be driving around aimlessly having fun.
Anybody else been out recently ?
LOVE IT !!

Yes last Sat. Hadn't driven since I got back from Spa in Sept. Was a bit unnerving getting wheelspin in 4th gear on what did not seem to be a wet road. Thought for a min that I had clutch slip. Proved it wasn't that by braking on the throttle in low gear and sure enough a few hours later on the way home I could let rip! Great seeing the road lit up by the flames behind me in the dusk on the overrun!

Out in my car today conditions were perfect, only problem is I can't help thinking I'm on the Mulsanne straight down the ancestor bypass (within the national speed limits of course)
I'm always amazed how well these cars are received by people with looks of amazement or a smile or sometimes both.

Hi Dom
where did you go for the new rad ? I went to Radtech Warrington for the black Ult a couple of years ago.
Sone, conditions were perfect, and of course I too stayed to the national speed limit, ha ha had the wife in the car to keep reminding me oops !!
