Hi Folks,

I currently have an instant savings account with Cheshire Bank, but I am receiving poor interest rates. I am looking to switch to a different cash ISA which I would benefit from a higher interest. I don't need anything fancy, just somewhere for me to keep my money safe.!

Before I wasted too much time confusing myself over the differences I thought I'd ask your opinion, or is it not as simple as that?

Cheers,
Lund

Go to google, type in 'Moneyfacts'. Look at the Cash ISA lists.

Should be self-explanatory from there.

The I = individual. wink

I just opened a new one with Northern Rock - Virgin's Easy Access Cash E-ISA. Rate: 2.85% AER.

The rate isn't based on a temporary bonus, you can transfer in from other ISAs and there's no penalties for taking money out.
