wipers will not stop!!

Hi there,

I need some help again.

When I switch on my wipers and then switch them off they do not stop, well they stop eventually.

I thought it was the relay so I changed it. . . . . But the problem is still there.
Also does the same if I use fast wiper or intermittent.


Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem or what is the problem?

It's probably the park switch. This is located on the motor housing and is a cheap and easy fix.
It's fairly common for them to fail.

Park Switch used to be adjustable on some. ie TR7V8

Almost certainly park switch, readily available on feabay for a few quid, fairly easy repair.

Agree with the park switch being the culprit. I replaced mine after experiencing the same symptoms, and started seeing them again after the new switch had been in place a year or two. The spade connectors & sockets were starting to corrode; a quick clean and the switch is 100% again. A new one is only about a tenner anyway.
