A quick question,
Two years ago I left the UK for tropical Australia, I miss good beer, family and the Tiv.
I am now fortunate to be in a very good financial position and have always wanted a Tuscan. I love the look of them. However being here means there is very little in the way of parts for a speed 6.
I know the sensible thing is a sorted 5.0 chim or griff but..... I want a Tuscan.
The RV8 is very well utilised here being in many Australian made cars, it it possible to retro fit one into a Tuscan when the Speed 6 inevitably fails?
I know there have been some with the LS conversion but my daily drive is a Holden SS which has the LS in it, I want something more....... British!
Does anyone know of this being done?? Obviously I want the speed 6 until it stops working, I am thinking long term.

Thanks Dave, a Warranty won't be much good to me as I can't pop back in and sort it. I am aware the car won't need as much warming up as the heat rarely dips below 28 degrees so that should help preserve the engine life.
I am more drawn towards a S as I prefer the rear light cluster with the spoiler.
I am back in the UK in April so if anyone is thinking about selling theirs??

Does the car not need to be serviced at power to keep the warranty up as well.
Or i am wrong here?
I was told this for my 5 year 100k miles warrantyOr i am wrong here?
1. 100k only warranted if serviced by Power
2. 5 years only warranted if serviced by a TVR specialist to be approved by Power, they seem happyto approve any of the known TVR specialists.

Hmmm, interesting. I've got a genuine S with the right upgrades and history that since I've moved to the US is not doing much anymore. I don't especially want or need to sell it, but for the right price......dvs_dave said:

Yourse has upgrades on the upgrades. If you sell I'll wind you up every time I come to Chicago !!!
I#ll send sound recordings of my Tuscan to the local Chicago radio stations

OK, a major spanner in the works.
I have been approved for the import but............ apparently due to being the first Tuscan shipped under the SEVS scheme, I am liable to pay all the testing costs - this can be an additional 40k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How were the other speed 6's imported?? were they all personal imports?
