Hi all,

Does anyone know what size wheels you can fit to the 400??

I have the 15" splits at the moment and thinking of putting some new

Thinking of changing the wheels (still with split rims) and wanted to go bigger. Would 17 inch splits work??

Cheers!

Matt - dont go bigger than 16 inch IMHO as it will ruin the ride and
handling.

Tyre size something like 225 or 235 / 45.

You might get away with a bigger rear rim on a 17 inch 245 / 40.

I think transmitter man is going the big wheel route.

Some idea's here..

Hey Alan, I had worried about the route of bigger wheels ruining things...

I think I might go down the route of refurbing the wheels again(shouldn't take too long second time round as they are pretty good) but wanted to see people's thoughts...

How's your car going??

I'm in Guildford now so really close if you ever need a hand with it??

It's getting closer..

Tried to turn the engine over on the starter key but no action..
flue pump primed.

Need to test voltage to starter etc.. (no plugs in .. so should turn easily).

Alan - I see where your problem is - you fitted a steam engine by mistake (flue pump indeed!!!)
