Does size matter?

Especially compared to a D4 (which is even bigger than the '3s).

But my hands told me that - not got particularly big paws, but couldn't live with a '7000 - far too small to hold and handle.......

I use a D700 with a battery grip which is a pretty similar size to a D3 (slightly smaller, but still big). D700 looks like a compact next to it!

Whilst the D7000 has a better sensor than the D200 (even Rob D likes it!) it's not an option for me - size/perceived thingy *does* matter!


(it would be like Motorvator turning up in a 40-knot coracle!)

I bought a D300 when it came out and used it in preference to my D2X for various reasons but I did start getting comments about no using a "professional" camera any more. Buying the grip however shut them up and improved the handling too.
