I was driving through a Kentish town this afternoon, when I was the victim of road rage. My crime: travelling at the speed limit. A middle aged munchkin took great exception to this, and started blasting her horn/gesticulating. The silly bh was on her way to Waitrose!

No wonder this country is in a mess - people have no self control anymore. What kind of person blasts their horn when another motorist is sticking to the rules? A: a fking hypocrite hehe

You assume it was your speed. Perhaps it was the FIAT she was objecting to? biggrin

I was subject to a dhead in an Audi this morning too as a result of driving in the correct lane and passing him gradually over the course of about 2 miles at or below the speed limit.

Perhaps he objected to being passed on the left, but I wasn't even doing it intentionally this time, I just crept past quite unavoidably.

Then when I indicated to move out to pass a car in L1 he closed the gap, flashed his lights blasted his horn and gesticulated madly through the passenger window, then deliberately prevented me from changing lanes then deliberately drove at 55 - 60 MPH once I pulled out behind him then waved at me through his rear window when he decided to accelerate.

I caught up with him about a minute later and did the same again before taking my exit.

Is it the type of car?

Don't you forget the:

"your speedo overreads, therefore you were travelling under the speed limit which makes you a monumental tosser that hinders me making progress"

this actually might be part of the problem, i have tested a few audis recently and on the satnav all there speedos are 100% bang on so it maybe that if your driving to your speedo you maybe somewhat slower than the speed limit

i have followed a couple of cars recently doing 21-22 in a 30 limit

no reason to give the driver abuse, just nuke them when its safe to do so

You should try living up in Cumbria. You're more likely to get a red faced bh in a middle aged Audi.

I bet she was more mad at herself, thinking if she had splashed out a bit extra and bought an Audi Q7 she may have been able to drive over the top of your car.
I bet she will be going back to the hubby to find out if she can trade the car in now for a bigger 4x4 lol

Same here, really winds them up but it's also about safety. It's strange how they are in such a rush they need to be 2ft off your back bumper but not quite enough of a rush to overtake!
