I have recently purchased a set of rear LED lights from Dectane in Germany, left light does not function correctly, typically when I start the car first time the left light fails to work, all other functions work, if I turn the car off and re-start the light will work (all funcions ? This is the second set that Dectane have sent and no change, the old lights worked so I assume the harness is in good order. Both lights came with additional resistors I have fitted these. Does anyone have any advice?

I'd return them as aftermarket kit like this occasionally more of a pain than its worth. Id personally keep it original If you really want LEDs you should perhaps go the gen2 rear lights and bumper + exhaust tips route. If you use search function a few other guys have gone this route

I would ask for my money back and go gen 2 rear end if you really want LED's

This is what I am doing!

I was hopeful of some technical advice on my problem ! If anyone can answer my question that would be great.

May be one of the resistors is faulty, try swapping over to see if this cures the problem .
