Hi Guys, as per the title does anyone have a fault code reader for an E46 or know of someone or a garage in Brighton that wouldn't mind plugging it in and getting me a fault code. I've got the well known airbag warning light on, and need to know what's causing it before I go on a blind treasure hunt trying to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Cheers man, it is a bit far though. I'll try some of the owners forums elsewhere.

You can buy them off ebay for peanuts, why do you want to borrow one?

Are they really any good the ones on ebay? Just assumed they were a pile of rubbish. Would make sense I had one, got two BMWs in the household.

The one I bought for about £50 was a life's saver, saved me £££££ when needing to fault find and reset warning lights on my old Gallardo.

I always had the impression they were way too expensive but surprisingly not plus as Pete says, it's paid it's price a few times on my cars.
