Battery/alternator light staying on, draining current - HELP
Discussion
I have a problem that my garage is simply unable to resolve.
Following a change of alternator, the battery and heater lights stay on after the ignition is cut, leaving the current open and draining the battery. The problem is solved by flicking the wiper switch, which cuts the current.
I have seen several posts already on PH which suggest various remedies, including changing the alternator. This has been tried, twice, to no avail.
My garage says he's tried everything he could think of.
Can anybody give me any ideas of how to resolve this?
Thanks.
