Internal space of S3 compared to Chimera
Discussion
A lot of S owners appear to be tall. Im 6ft 6 and around 16.5st and I fitted in an S2 albeit entering and exiting was sometimes tricky in a confined space like a tight garage. I have personally found it easier now I have a V8 with the longer doors. Would suggest an S3/4/V8 would be best for you even though an S2 served me well enough, as the S2 and earlier have short doors. No issues with Pedals and leg room once in.

I'm slightly shorter at 6'3" and have no problems in my V8s.I'd agree with Deeman about a S3/S4/V8s with the longer doors, makes life far easier getting in and out of.
I have also heard a rumor that the pedal positions vary between cars depending upon the initial owner but please don't quote me on this and take it as gospel!

This is quite true, increased or decreased leg room peddle box positions were options on my car in 1991 at a cost of £32.00. Don't ask me what they changed or if they can be altered as a DIY, I have never looked. It does however mean that if one car does not fit, the next could.Gassing Station | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
