I want to get a couple of tickets as gifts, a weekend general admission ticket is £155 direct from Silverstone, is there anywhere else to look for tickets? Anywhere cheaper? Anywhere with added value, or extras? Does membership of any organisation help?

I've been lucky to go a few times but have always been a guest on a hospitality package, I'm sure the general admission tickets will be fine, standing with the real fans and the ability to change where you watch from, any comments?

Thanks!

Only ever booked through Silverstone direct so have no knowledge of the following:

BookF1
EasyGPT
thomascooksports

Only that I know other people have used the top 2

HTH
Scott

PS - If you can afford it, get grandstand seating - I'm not an advocate of General Admission tickets , but that's me. As a gift, I'm sure they'll be well appreciated, though.

Thanks for the replies, Silverstone direct is still looking the best option.

Don't bother - for not much more money go to Spa instead - get a general admin ticket, loads of good places to view from, cheap Eurotunnel if booked soon, couple of tanks of fuel.
