Well eventually managed to make a start on my winter job list, so got it up on axle stands today and started to strip a few bits. One of the jobs was to sort why the O/S exhaust manifold is sat on the chassis and I expected to find a knackered engine mount or the spacer missing but I can't see anything wrong both mountings look the same and dont have any play when moving with the prybar? I'm quite happy to just put a new set of engine mounts on to try it but not sure what else it could be. When I was looking on race tech direct website they also list 2 differnt thickness spacers anybody know why or can offer me any ideas or advice the clearance issue???

I know its childish but as soon as the exhaust was off I had to start it and give it a rev!smile Hopefully get some of the suspension stripped tommorrow and gone a try and get all my parts ordered.

They can 'sag' over time... also they are slotted... so you can jack the engine up and re-nip the bolts to get it heigher... smile

Cheers fella's, hopefully they have just sagged then. I'll get some ordered and take it from there. Got plenty to crack on with till they turn up anyway!
