Air box problems

On my 2003 cooper S, I have put a piper ores be on induction kit on, this means taking the top of the air box off....I have been told that I could get a jcw air box and it would fit directly into it withbthe lid on? Is this correct? Also at the minute I have had 2 bend some flesh pipe for the air to go into the bottom of the air box, is there a kit or a different box or fitment I can buy or make that will help, also I would like it to look the part...

If any1 can help me I will be very grateful...
